Armor (Kevlar) is protective equipment in Counter-Strike 2 that reduces incoming damage from bullets and some other sources. It is used to make a player harder to kill and to preserve health during gunfights, especially when taking repeated body shots.

Kevlar can be bought during the buy phase and is often paired with a helmet when available, since armor alone does not stop all headshot damage. Managing armor is a basic part of economy decisions, because surviving with armor can be as important as buying a stronger weapon.
