An entry fragger is the player who takes the first fight when a team attacks a bombsite or clears space on a map. In Counter-Strike 2, this role is used to create an opening by gathering information, drawing defensive utility, or securing the first kill so teammates can follow in.

Entry fraggers are often aggressive players with strong aim and quick decision-making, since their job carries higher risk than other roles. A successful entry can turn a round by giving the attacking team immediate map control and a numbers advantage.
