HE Grenade (Nade/Frag):

An HE Grenade, also called a nade or frag, is an explosive utility weapon in Counter-Strike 2 that deals area damage to players caught in its blast. It is used to soften enemies, finish low-health opponents, punish opponents behind cover, and pressure common choke points before a fight begins.

Its value comes from forcing damage without direct line of sight and from making opponents reposition. HE grenades are often thrown into narrow entrances, stacked bombsites, or behind cover where enemies are likely to group up. For example, a player holding mid on Dust II can throw an HE Grenade at a fast-moving tunnel push to damage multiple opponents before the duel starts.
