IGL (In-Game Leader):

An IGL, or in-game leader, is the player who makes the team’s tactical decisions during a Counter-Strike 2 match. The IGL usually calls strategies, adjusts the game plan based on enemy movement and economy, and coordinates teammates’ positions and utility usage.

In Counter-Strike 2, the IGL is important because round-to-round decisions often depend on timing, map control, and resource management. Some teams give the role to a single dedicated player, while others share parts of it across the roster.
