Spray Pattern (Recoil Pattern):

A spray pattern, or recoil pattern, is the fixed sequence of bullet spread a weapon follows when it is fired continuously in Counter-Strike 2. Players learn these patterns so they can pull their aim in the opposite direction and keep shots more accurate during sustained fire.

It matters because automatic weapons become harder to control the longer the trigger is held, and mastering recoil control is a core skill for winning mid-range and close-range fights.
