Escort is a map type in Overwatch 2 where one team pushes a payload along a route while the other team tries to stop it.

Progress advances when attackers stay near the payload, and the objective becomes harder to move as defenders contest it. Escort maps reward coordinated positioning, payload control, and time management because the payload’s movement determines how far the attacking team can advance.
