45-Degree Flick (Diagonal Flick):

A 45-degree flick, also called a diagonal flick, is a car-control shot in Rocket League where the player carries the ball on the roof and then flips diagonally to launch it toward goal. The angled flip adds both speed and directional control, making it a common finishing move in one-on-one situations and after controlled dribbles.

It is used to beat defenders by shooting quickly while still aiming the ball to one side, rather than straight ahead. The term can also refer more generally to any flick performed with a diagonal dodge input at roughly a 45-degree angle.
