Supersonic Legend (SSL) is the highest competitive rank in Rocket League, above all other standard ranked tiers. It marks the top end of the game’s skill ladder and is used to identify players who have reached elite consistency in car control, positioning, and decision-making.

In practice, SSL matters because it separates the very best ranked players from the rest of the population and is often associated with high-level mechanics and faster, more precise play. For example, an SSL player may read a bouncing clear, challenge immediately, and turn that touch into a controlled counterattack before the defense can reset.
