A crossfire is a defensive setup where two players hold angles that overlap, so an enemy exposed to one player can also be shot by the other. In VALORANT, crossfires are used to make a push harder to clear and to punish enemies who focus on only one threat.

Good crossfires depend on spacing, timing, and clear communication, since both players need to avoid blocking each other’s line of fire or getting traded too easily.
