Deathmatch / DM:

Deathmatch, often shortened to DM, is a VALORANT practice mode where players fight to get the most eliminations in a free-for-all or team-based match.

It is commonly used to warm up aim, practice gunfights, and learn weapon control without the pressure of full objective play. In VALORANT discussions, “DM” usually means this mode rather than a match outcome or player state.
