An ultimate, or “ult,” is an agent’s strongest ability in VALORANT, built up by earning ultimate points during a round. Ultimates are usually game-changing tools that can help secure kills, gather information, or swing control of a site or round.

Players often save, track, or coordinate ultimates because one well-timed ult can decide an engagement or force the enemy team to change how they play.
