An aim duel is a direct one-on-one fight in which both players try to land accurate shots first and win the engagement through crosshair placement, reaction time, and movement control. In Counter-Strike 2, aim duels often happen when two players hold the same angle, swing a corner, or re-peek after utility has cleared sightlines.

Winning aim duels matters because it converts individual mechanical skill into map control, opening space for a team to take sites, hold positions, or gain a numbers advantage.
