Rifler:

A rifler is a player whose main role is using rifles as the team’s primary weapons in Counter-Strike 2. Riflers usually take most of the standard gunfights, hold key angles, and help win rounds through consistent aim and positioning.

The term is also used to distinguish these players from AWPers, entry fraggers, anchors, and support players, even though many professionals can fill more than one role depending on the round or team setup.
