Creep score (CS) is the number of lane or neutral creeps a player has killed. In Dota 2, it is a basic measure of how well a hero is farming early and how much gold and experience they are securing from creeps.
Players often track CS to compare lane efficiency, since more last hits usually means faster item progression and a stronger midgame. The term is also used in match analysis to describe a hero’s farming pace or laning performance.
