Space:

Space is the room, time, or attention a player creates on the map so allies can farm, take objectives, or make plays safely. In Dota 2, teams often talk about a hero “making space” by drawing enemy heroes away from more important areas, forcing reactions, or occupying vision and attention. Space matters because it helps cores gain resources and lets a team control the map without direct fights.
