Duel:

Duel is a one-on-one fight between two players, usually in a focused part of the map or during a brief isolated engagement. In Overwatch 2, the term is used to describe situations where one hero is trying to outplay another through aim, cooldown timing, positioning, or movement rather than through team pressure.

Winning a duel can create an opening for a team, while losing one can leave a hero at a disadvantage and force a retreat or respawn.
