Pocket:

Pocket is a support player’s focused attention on a single teammate, usually to keep that ally alive or boost their effectiveness. In Overwatch 2, a pocketed hero may receive sustained healing, damage boosts, or other protection so they can stay aggressive, survive key fights, or hold an important position.

The term is often used to describe pairings such as a support “pocketing” a damage hero or tank. It matters because pocketing concentrates resources on one player, which can create a strong advantage for that hero but leaves the rest of the team with less support.
