Light Shields:

Light Shields are the cheaper armor option in VALORANT, giving an Agent extra protection against incoming damage. They are commonly bought on eco or semi-buy rounds when a team wants some survivability without spending as much as Full Shields.

Light Shields help absorb damage from bullets, abilities, and other sources of harm, but they provide less protection than heavier armor. Choosing them is usually a tradeoff between saving credits and staying alive long enough to take fights or survive a stray shot.
